Complete Eye Health Evaluation

Good Eyecare
Begins With A Yearly Eye Exam!

Although many do not realize it, the best way to protect your vision is with a yearly eye checkup. Even a basic eye exam can instantly detect such health-threatening conditions such as tumors, vascular irregularities, and diabetic-related injuries to the retina. That basic checkup is brief and painless.

Maintaining good eye health starts with you maintaining good overall health. Being healthy and assuming that you’re healthy is the difference between patients who visit their doctors regularly and those who do not. The same goes with your vision. Knowing that your vision is good and your eyes are healthy starts with a complete eye examination. A complete examination can typically result in the diagnosis and treatment of most vision disorders such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, amblyopia, presbyopia, cataracts, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

These examinations are just as important for children, if not more. An initial exam can be done as young as 6 months, but they are at least recommended by school starting age and at least every two years.
